Portland Community College

Portland Community College was established in 1961 and serves five counties surrounding Portland.

It began as an adult education program operating out of the Failing School, and now has an enrollment of about 85,000 students. It's also one of the top employers in the area.

It has three main campuses: Sylvania in Southwest Portland, Rock Creek near Hillsboro, and Cascade in North
