Oregon Zoo cougar Chinook gave birth to a healthy female cub Sunday, September 19, 2010. The cub's father (himself a former baby cougar)[1] is Paiute, also at the zoo. According to keepers, the first-time mom is taking good care of her cub, who weighed approximately 2 pounds at birth.[2]
