Pronounced like KLAK-uh-miss

A rural county that makes up the most of South quadrant of Portland, except for the urban of Portland. Though it doesn't touch the rivers, it is still considered by most businesses as a part of the 'four counties' of Portland: Washington County and Multnomah County in Oregon, and Columbia County and Clark County in Washington.

Most of what can be considered scenic South Portland, is Clackamas County.

Residents are sometimes referred to as "Clackimites".
