Some people know a good thing when they stumble upon it. Take the owner of a gun shop, called (without the slightest hint of irony) Gun Shop. In a story published in 2007, the Oregonian reported that the Gun Shop's owner had owned the shop "at 5537 SE Foster Road for 41 years."[1]

So why is this main street business still firing after all these years? Possibly it's because of its proximity to Felony Flats, one of Portland's more celebrated neighborhoods. Especially if your idea of celebrating includes methamphetamine, live ammo, choppers, rap sheet, squeal-like-a-pig banjo music and a vacation home on Cell Block D.
