From Barfly:

"On the edge of northwest's still-extant industrial zones, the damnably-loyal blue-collar and blue-haired (some choosing retirement locale upon Joe's proximity) regulars drink chockablock 'round the horseshoe bar with gentler new locals and journalist manques wandering down from the new WW HQ."[1]

First Thursdays

Authors in Pubs is a 'First Thursday' event that brings local writers into a bar, restaurant or where-ever, and allows them to share their work with the patrons. This helps to boost the confidence of the writer by getting first hand feedback on his/her work. Stop by for a beverage, bite to eat or better yet, join our little group and read a story of your own. Contact Don Van Kirk prior to the event if you would like to read. thanks

Please join us on March 1st, 2012 @ 8:00pm (First Thursday)
