Purpose

Following all the N17 excitement, we have a variety of peaceful, family-oriented Community Gathering events coming up this weekend.

Saturday night from 10PM-12:01 midnight we will hold a vigil at City Hall to mark the closing of the camp last week, with a moment of silence at midnight. This event intends to bring together faith groups, street tribes and anyone who feels affected by the closing of Lownsdale and Chapman. Bring candles if you wish. We may sing together, as well as march around the 3 formerly-Occupied blocks.

  • Wondering how to plug in or find people to work with?

Come and "Meet the Occupation" at the end of the City Wide March 11 20 11.
Look for us at 5:30 PM at Salmon Street Springs on the Waterfront. While enjoying live local music, meet members from all of Occupy Portland's committees, working groups, and affinity groups face-to-face, to learn what they do and how the various groups operate.
If you've been wondering how to get connected or involved, you won't want to miss this event. We invite new faces and ideas, and we need you in order to succeed!
