| Old Town/Chinatown is a neighborhood predominantly in [[Northwest Portland]], with a small portion in [[Southwest Portland]]. The neighborhood is bounded on the north and west by [[Broadway Avenue|NW Broadway]] and on the east by the [[Willamette River]]. Its southern border runs along [[Burnside Street|W. Burnside]] from Broadway until [[West 3rd Avenue|SW 3rd]], then [[Pine Street|SW Pine]] to [[West 2nd Avenue|2nd]], [[Oak Street|SW Oak]] to [[West 1st Avenue|SW 1st]], and finally [[Stark Street|SW Stark]] to the river. Old Town/Chinatown encompasses the original township of Portland that was platted by [[Asa Lovejoy]] and [[Francis Pettygrove]].
