Welcome to PortlandWiki!

PortlandWiki strives to a great community resource for anyone and everyone in and around Portland. As you may have noticed, we're not quite there yet. We can use all the help we can get! This means you.

By sharing your knowledge of the City of Bridges, you'll help us build a wiki that Portland, the birthplace of wikis, can be proud of. And, hopefully, will have fun while you do it. There's very little barrier to participating here. We all will learn the community norms and simple technology of the wiki as we grow this place.

Welcome others

One of the best ways to build community is to welcome people when they are new. Please feel free to welcome new people. To welcome a new person, you can either write a personalized message or make use of the welcome template by adding {{subst:Welcome}} on their talk page.

As wikis are about people, people, technology and people - one of the first things we like to do is welcome people to this space - welcome to the WikiOhana!
