PARASOL Climate Collective is calling for a Clown Picket of the upcoming Republican Debate being held at Oregon Public Broadcasting’s studios the 19th of March.

Capitalist production practices are increasing climate altering greenhouse gases to critical levels, and these clowns will not even acknowledged that there is a problem.

A community picket is a permeable (people may pass through it) line that is intended to confront those passing through with a moral or political decision regarding their participation in the picketed event. PARASOL is asking for broad participation (including kids), and requests that participants respect that intent while engaging in picketing.

Meet in the parking lot of Willamette Park, 3 blocks North of OPB’s station (7140 Southwest Macadam Avenue, Portland, OR) at 4:30 on Monday, the 19th of March.
