Purpose
Oakland organizers speak alongside rank and file Longshoremen from Oakland and Longview WA about the significance of the Longview lockout by international grain exporting conglomerate EGT. Occupy Longview WA will be issuing a ‘call to action’ to block the EGT grain ship expected to arrive in mid-January. Occupies in various cities have begun to plan caravans to Longview, WA to meet the ship’s arrival. Coordinated by the committee to shut down the ports on D12.
