Swan Island is an industrial area located in North Portland.

Originally, Swan Island was an island in the middle of the Willamette River, but the eastern channel of the river has been filled and the land is now attached to the mainland. Swan Island was the site of Portland's first airport, the predecessor to the Portland International Airport. During World War II Swan Island was the site of one of Henry Kaiser's three shipbuilding sites in the area.
