Washington Park

Washington Park is one of Portland's oldest parks.

Situated in the West Hills, it was originally known as City Park. It is home to:

• the World Forestry Center
• the Vietnam Veterans of Oregon Memorial
• the Hoyt Arboretum
• two of the Portland City Reservoirs
• the Portland Japanese Gardens
• the International Rose Test Garden
• the Oregon Zoo
• the Washington Park MAX station, reportedly the deepest transit station in the United States
