6th Avenue, along with 5th Avenue, is a major transit thoroughfare on the Westside. W Burnside divides it into two streets: NW 6th Avenue, and SW 6th Avenue.
Northwest 6th Avenue
NW 6th runs from W Burnside on the south to just past NW Irving on the north, where it terminates at Union Station.
Southwest 6th Avenue
SW 6th runs from W Burnside on the north down to approximately SW Sheridan on the south, where the street then becomes SW Terwilliger Boulevard.
