Downtown is one of the neighborhoods of [[Southwest Portland]] and is the site of the original Portland township. Downtown's boundaries roughly correspond to [[Interstate 405]] on the West and South, [[W Burnside Street]] on the North, and the [[Willamette River]] on the East. Today, Downtown is the city's financial district, as well as supporting a strong retail core. [[Portland State University]] is located in Downtown, as is the nearby [[Cultural District]].

Downtown is one of the neighborhoods of Southwest Portland and is the site of the original Portland township. Downtown's boundaries roughly correspond to Interstate 405 on the West and South, W Burnside Street on the North, and the Willamette River on the East. Today, Downtown is the city's financial district, as well as supporting a strong retail core. Portland State University is located in Downtown, as is the nearby Cultural District.
