Occupy Oregon State Teach-In: Film Night

Purpose
The OSU Peace Studies is hosting a Film Night and the local Occupy movement is invited to this viewing. This is a special screening of the award winning documentary "Chicano Park" on November 8, 2011 at 6pm in Owen Hall 102. This film explores how a working class community in San Diego engaged in an nonviolent occupation to build a public park for the benefit of community and started a vibrant social and artistic movement. Discussion on nonviolent occupation tactics to follow. We hope you can make it and share your perspectives.
