Ladd's Addition is a development within the Hosford-Abernethy noted for its diagonal street pattern, its rose gardens, and the Palio Dessert House (1996 SE Ladd Avenue) situated almost in the middle of the bulls-eye.

The Ladd in question was William S. Ladd, developer and mayor, now at rest in the Riverview Cemetery. L
