Purpose

For the third Tuesday in a row, Occupy Portland will discuss acceptable use of tactics and how they relate to respect of autonomy and diversity in our movement and respect for community norms and delineation of space.

Our intention with this event is to move forward with community norms that balance respect and autonomy.

A lot of support has been expressed for a modified St. Paul Principles such as right here:

http://www.portlandgeneralassembly.org/2012/02/portland-principles-of-diversity-of-tactics/

But together we can come up with our own vision for how we can move forward and be effective as a movement.
