Terry Schrunk Plaza
Downtown Portland
Between SW 3rd & 4th Avenues
and SW Madison & Jefferson Streets
Portland, OR 97204

Terry Schrunk Plaza is located across from Portland City Hall at the 1200 block of SW Third Avenue, downtown Portland. Terry D. Schrunk was the Mayor of Portland from 1957 to 1973. The plaza features a brick amphitheater, bronze monument and Taihu Rock. The physical location has a colorful past as a former location of flophouses, an armed forces recruiting center, and a parking lot. The 16-ton Taihu Rock is a gift from Portland's sister city Suzhou.[1]
