Laurelhurst is a neighborhood that spans [[Northeast Portland]] and [[Southeast Portland]]. Laurelhurst's northern boundary is made up of [[NE Sandy Boulevard|Sandy Boulevard]] and [[Intersate 84]], its eastern boundary is [[SE 39th Avenue|39th]], its southern boundary is [[SE Stark Street|SE Stark]], and its western boundary is [[SE 32nd Avenue|32nd]]. The neighborhood is almost exclusively residential, with small pockets of retail and offices on Sandy, [[East Burnside Street|Burnside]], and Stark.
