Purpose
This years No Pants event will have a special meaning here in Portland, Or.
We will be working together with Raphael House of Portland for a Pants donation drive.
If you can donate 1 pair of clean pants in kids, teens or adult size with the size tagged on the back of the pants for easy sorting.The pants will go directly to supporting local citizens of Oregon. The generous support of community donations makes there programs possible.
Raphael House of Portland is a multi-faceted domestic violence agency dedicated to ending intimate partner violence for good. They serve individuals and families of all backgrounds, cultures, ages, and sexual orientations. The current state of the economy means that costs for providing food and clothing to the survivors and their children living in shelter have risen dramatically. This is a great chance to donate 1 pair of pants to help a worthy cause. Please bring 1 pair of clean pants to the No Pants party.
- There are two meeting points for 2012 No Pants and you'll meet everyone at whichever route you choose.
There is a leader at each route that will take you on your adventure, at the end we all meet up and head for a private No Pants Party!
- No Pants Subway/Max Ride 2010

- Time: 3:00pm - 5:00pm, No Pants Private After party downtown 5:30-9pm
- Location: The subway/max line, Duh!
3:30ish the groups head out to ride the trains/max to the 1st location, the 2nd location is the Big group photo op at Pioneer Sq, 3rd location is across from Jakes, 4th stop is the No Pants party
- Those locations include
- NE Portland: Lloyd Center (Holladay Park - next to the fountain, near the Max)
- Downtown: Goose Hollow Inn Bar
It is very important that you bring with you a back pack, a bag, etc to put your pants in, as well as an alibi as to why you're on the max. In order not to get kicked off of the max you must be headed some where.
Oh yes, remember you still are in public I recommend not wearing any thongs!
- REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION
This is a participatory event, don't show up unless you will be taking off your pants
- Willing to take pants off on subway
- Able to keep a straight face about it
- For those of you traveling outside of fareless square, don't forget at least $$$ for fare! VERY IMPORTANT!
- No Pants Private Party
There will be a DJ, drink specials and a photo area for those who want to pose with the donation of pants.
The after party location will be disclosed at the Big photo opt at Pioneer Sq. and I can collect the $3 door fee there for faster entry in the club. (Those who pay ahead of time, get in first. Otherwise, you will pay at the door.) Yes, this is a No pants party, meaning if you are wearing pants, you must be leaving the party!
