This list of model projects describes examples of partnerships between GLAMs and Wikimedia. Each model project is described in detail on its own page and is accompanied by one or more case studies, which can serve as a resource for beginning such a project at your institution. You may also like to see the success stories. If you have an idea for a project which is not listed here, please contact us or your local contact.
Coordinating a GLAM outreach event |
- The GLAM community has organized various types of outreach events, each meant for a specific audience and each with a specific purpose. These include GLAM-Wiki conferences directed at GLAM professionals, GLAMCamp workshops that bring together Wikimedians for coordination efforts, and other outreach events, such as Edit-a-Thons and Backstage Passes, that are often specific to a singular institution.
