The Sellwood Bridge is the southernmost of the city's automobile bridges, a two-lane span with a narrow pedestrian/bike lane. The bridge is more than 80 years old and is considered marginally safe.

The Sellwood Bridge Project is an effort led by Multnomah County with its agency partners to develop a long-term solution for this Willamette River crossing in South Portland.[1]
