Highway 217, also known as the Beaverton-Tigard Highway, runs between Highway 26 near West Slope to Interstate 5 at Tigard. The Westside Express Service runs parallel to the freeway. The highway is currently under evaluation by ODOT. ODOT is looking at possible lane additions, and possibly exit removal, for the exits on 217 being extremely in close proximity to each other, being a major contributor to the freeway's congestion.
